Cancellation Terms
Standard cancellation terms are defined as follows:
>28 days before commencement: 100% refund of agreed value*, less transaction costs.
>14 days before commencement: 75% refund of agreed value*, less transaction costs.
>7 days before commencement: 25% refund of agreed value*, less transaction costs.
<=7 days before commencement: No refund.
Modifications:
Modifications done for bookings starting within 7 days, or for active bookings, may alter the daily rate.
– Shortened durations may increase the rate to the rack rate.
– Lengthened durations may allow for a negotiation to a reduced long-stay rate.
– Booking amendments incur a booking amendment administration charge.
– Cancellation involves a charge equivalent to a minimum of 30 days or the remaining booking value, whichever is lower.
Additional Charges and Policies:
– Booking amendment administration charge: Minimum $250.
– Refund negotiation fee: $250, regardless of outcome, includes 2 hrs. Additional time charged at $125/hr.
– Refunds processed within 10 business days, should the negotiation be succesful.
Glossary
*Agreed value
The attributed cancellation amount can range from a minimum of one month’s value to the total booking value. This must be determined before the booking commences.
Emergency
In case of an emergency, there’s a 72-hour window from the relevant date to provide evidence for a refund claim. Refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Transaction charges will apply to any refunds issued.
Relevant date
This is either the commencement date of the booking or the specific date when an emergency occurs.
No-shows
Guests who do not arrive on the scheduled arrival date, without prior notice, will be charged for the entire duration of the reservation.
